This absolutely stunning vintage Polynesian lotus flower serving set is crafted from monkey pod wood, with each bowl beautifully inlaid with Capiz shells. A true mid-century gem, this rare 16-piece set is fully complete, consisting of 12 individual bowls, a main bowl with a lid, and a pair of large serving utensils (fork and spoon). It is highly unusual to find such sets in this condition, especially with the inlaid Capiz shells fully intact.  

The serving piece features two rows of petal-shaped bowls. The top row can be removed by guests and used individually, while the bottom row and the central main bowl are perfect for food presentation. The entire piece rotates, acting as a lazy Susan for convenient serving.  

In good vintage condition, the set shows signs of wear consistent with age. A truly unique and functional collectible for any home or dining space.
