15/16 x 3/4 inch antiqued finish sterling silver St. Juan Diego round medal on a 20 inch stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised profile image of Saint Juan Diego on the front, who is shown knelt in prayer. On the top and bottom of the pendant are the words, "Saint Juan Diego Pray For Us" in black text. The left and right sides of the medal feature engraved and antiqued stars. Saint Juan Diego was a native to Mexico. He was the first Roman catholic indigenous saint from the Americas. He is known for his visions of the Virgin Mary, also known as Our Lady of Guadalupe, who gave Juan Diego a cloak imprinted with her image in flowers on it.
