This extended chromoly tie rod kit with heim joint upgrade is engineered to increase steering strength, maximize wheel travel, and eliminate steering play on 1986–1995 Toyota 4WD Pickups and 4Runners equipped with Total Chaos long travel suspension systems.

When suspension travel is increased, factory tie rods and steering components often become a weak point. This kit replaces the OEM inner and outer tie rod ends with high strength 4130 chromoly components and 3/4 inch heim joints, providing improved durability and more precise steering response under aggressive off road conditions.

This system is designed specifically for Total Chaos long travel applications only.

By upgrading to extended chromoly tie rods and high angle heims, this system supports increased suspension cycling while maintaining steering stability.

All primary components are manufactured from 4130 chromoly for superior strength and long term durability.

• Zinc plated extended chromoly tie rods

• 3/4 inch 4130 chromoly heim joints

• Left hand and right hand high angle heims

• Laser cut weld on double shear steering arm gusset

• 1/2 inch tapered sleeves

• Hi misalignment spacers

• Grade 8 mounting hardware

This configuration allows maximum articulation while maintaining strength in demanding terrain.

Installation Requirements

• Not compatible with factory width suspension

• Not compatible with non TC long travel kits
