Some suppliers use names like AK Pro for a similar 2-in-1 tufting gun. At Tuftingshop, we call this model
AK DUO because its main strength is the dual cut-and-loop function. This keeps the product positioning clear: it is versatile and practical, but it is not our most advanced professional machine.

The AK DUO comes with a separate loop needle, allowing you to switch between a soft, open cut-pile finish and a classic loop-pile texture. Adjustable speed control helps you work at a pace that suits your project and experience level.

Cut and Loop Tufting

With cut pile tufting, the machine cuts the yarn as it is pushed through the tufting cloth, creating a soft and textured surface.
