Proven in racing and off-road use: Wunderlich DOUBLESHOCK axle protectors

In the event of a tip-over or crash, the axle protectors help prevent damage to the fork, axle and brake system by absorbing impact and abrasion.

The protectors act as spacers between these sensitive components and the ground, reducing or even avoiding expensive repair costs. In addition to selecting high-grade materials, we have integrated two specific, proven design features developed in motorsports: damping and a progressively increasing friction resistance during the sliding phase.

Damping: This key feature enables the protector to absorb part or all of the impact energy in the event of a sudden blow.

Friction resistance: The second benefit lies in the geometric design of the protector, which increases the effective contact surface from the outside inward. This results in low resistance during light contact, but progressively higher resistance with continued sliding. The benefit: in a crash, the duration and distance the bike slides on the ground is reduced.

For optimal protection of your bike, we recommend combining the axle protectors with our vehicle-specific crash bar systems, which we also offer with additional protection pads.
