The Taki 18600 type is a high-pressure gas tank truck for liquefied ammonia that was introduced in 1970 by applying the structure developed for the Taki 25000 type. Although some vehicles remained in operation after the privatization of JNR, they were retired in March 2008, when the last remaining service between Ogimachi and Iwanuma ended.
