This magnificent 46.5cm long solid and chunky fob chain necklace is made of an all original and circa 1897 hallmarked double lovers knot and paper clip trumpet links of 35cm long. I’ve paired this 1897 chain with an addition of deliciously chunky curb link fob chain extension to bring the necklace to the length of 46.5cm. 

The solid and chunky fob chain has an impressive diameter of 9mm and weighs a staggering 78.1 grams. 

It is truly solid, truly magnificent and truly beautiful.

The fob chain opens and closes with a well working and well sized hallmarked silver dog clasp by the antique silversmith Henry Bourne.

The substantial t-bar toggle is hallmarked for circa 1909.
