The Smith & Nephew Allevyn Non Adhesive Ag Silver Dressing is a hydrocellular foam absorbent pad designed for the management of partial to full thickness wounds. Its proprietary antimicrobial technology relies on the constant release of bactericidal silver onto the area of the wound. It is not compatible with hydrogen peroxide or oxidizing agents, in which case it is recommended to combine the Allevyn Non Adhesive Ag Silver Dressing with other types of topical solutions.
