Barrel aging this bold Petite Sirah for a year has created an incredibly well structured, yet very approachable, wine of great color and depth. Blue fruits and boysenberry command the senses upon entry, while notes of black pepper and spice linger on the palate. On the nish, ripe textured tannins have been noticeably softened by those 12 months in American oak.

This versatile wine pairs well with a variety of foods like smoked lamb shoulder with rosemary, braised short ribs with blackberry barbecue sauce and smoked gouda cheese.
