Seiko 5 Sports Heritage Design Re-creation Limited Edition

This summer, a beloved Seiko design that was popular around the world from the late 1960s to the early 1970s is being reissued in the Seiko 5 Sports collection.

Reproduced in a size and shape as close as possible to the original, the reissued design is powered by the tried-and-trusted Caliber 4R36 automatic movement. The new creation strikes a perfect balance between the nostalgic design of the original and the modern watchmaking technology of today.

Produced in two colors, black and silver, the dial closely follows that of the classic design, with the original Seiko 5 Sports logo revived at the 12 o’clock position.

In the re-creation, the unique look of the original bracelet has been preserved, though it has been updated with contemporary materials for a fit and feel tailored for daily wear.

The case back is marked with the words "Limited Edition" and the serial number.

As a special feature of the limited edition, the watch comes with a sporty retro leather strap reminiscent of the time when the original model was popular.

The commitment to classic design continues with the watch’s special packaging, which pays homage to the box that came with the original model.
