The ART Dual RP is a preamp that relies on phantom power and is meant for use with dynamic and/or ribbon microphones. It is designed to increase the performance of these microphones, allowing you to get a cleaner, more nuanced tone across long cable runs or when routing mics into your recording interface. The preamp accommodates up to two microphones via XLR connections. A variable impedance control for each channel lets you tailor the performance of each of your dynamic or ribbon mics with the preamp individually to ensure the best tonal performance. The preamp runs on phantom power from mixers and interfaces, so as a bonus, you will not harm your ribbon mics with phantom power if the Dual RP sits between your mics and their eventual destination.
