This image is an homage to my Aunt who recently passed. It is a lasercut intaglio inspired by a photograph taken of a sweater my Aunt had knit for me when I was younger. The photograph was cropped to show a detail of the knit sweater which was then edited to black and white and then laser etched into a credit card blank. The plate was then inked and printed, in the traditional intaglio process, using Charbonnel Vandyke Brown on the Fuchsia 3D printed press from Open Press Project.
