What?

Our Sero Christmas Cake Kit has all the ingredients you need to make your own Christmas cake already weighed out ready to go so there's no waste! 

Each kit contains:

• 1kg Luxury Mixed Fruit in Brandy (ingredients below)
• 200g Light Soft Brown Sugar
• 175g Plain White Flour
• 100g Ground Almonds
• 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
• 2 tsp Mixed Spice
• 1tsp Ground Cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp Ground Cloves
• 100g Flaked Almonds

In addition all you'll need is:

• Extra brandy/sherry/whisky/rum for feeding (if you wish!)
• 250g pack butter, softened
• 4 large eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Where?

Our kits are available to pick up from our Sero store at Tredegar House only.  

Why?

To buy all the ingredients you'd need for this recipe from the supermarket you'd have to buy pre set quantities in mostly single use plastic packaging. For example, instead of purchasing 1/2 tsp of baking powder you'd have to buy a 170g tub. By purchasing a zero waste kit you're cutting out food waste, packaging waste and saving money!

NOTE: Please choose your preferred date for collection by selecting the date which works best. We like kits to be collected within a day or so of being made up so they are fresh and there is minimal seepage through our paper bags. If you need a different date to the ones listed please let us know.
