This very pretty vintage fancy link chain dates to the 1940s.  It is marked 9ct Gold on its secure clasp and has very pretty fancy links which measure approximately 3mm wide.
 
The 9ct gold of this chain is bright with a rosy tone and beautiful patina, and its links are all secure and free of dinks.  The chain measures 15 inches (a choker length for most- see pictures) and it has a nice weight of 4.48g.

Solid gold chains have been a fashion staple for over a century, and at this lovely length, they are highly sought after.  Their versitility means they can be worn alone, in a stack with longer or shorter chains. This one, with its fancy links, looks fantastic on its own, but could also be worn as part of a stack.
