These clay pieces are an ideal soil additive, soil replacement (orchids), or for use in any hydroponics/aeroponics/aquaponics application. These are compatible with almost all container gardening plants such as orchids, succulents, monstera and pothos. You can use this material on its own for hydroponic growing media or you can add it to a soil as a soil amendment to assist with aeration and drainage. These clay pebbles are natural and organic with a long life-span.

TIP: Try soaking your pebbles for 6-24 hours–preferably with an air stone–before planting. This allows water to percolate through the clay's micro-pores completely saturating the media. After an adequate soak, you will notice the media has become heavier.
