ROTI^®Blue quick provides a new, very fast staining method for proteins in polyacrylamide gels. Due to the modern formulation, the dye binds highly specifically to proteins, but not to the gel matrix, hence eliminating the need to destain the gel. First bands are clearly visible within 3 minutes!

The following protein amounts / band can be detected in the specified time (minutes):from 1 µg (3 min.)from 100 µg (15 min.)from 10 ng (60 min.)

The sensitivity of staining equals that of ROTI^®Blue (Art. No. A152), so bands of 10 ng protein can be detected. ROTI^®Blue quick is, therefore, approx. 5times more sensitive than standard Coomassie^® staining solutions. ROTI^®Blue quick staining is also fully compatible with usual down-stream applications like, membrane transfer & Western blotting, MS analysis (incl. MALDI) and protein gel elution.
