Pretty Dirty looks at flowers across their full life cycle—from cultivation and arrangement to decomposition and disposal. This gorgeous, giftable book combines process, practice, and reflection, with an emphasis on how flowers move through time and use.

Created by Melanie Stapleton of floral studio Cecilia Fox, the book draws on her ongoing work on sustainability in the floral industry. It includes images of flowers in natural settings, collaborative arrangements, and documentation of compost and floral waste, alongside contributions from a network of growers, wholesalers, and florists.

Throughout, Stapleton shares practical insights from her experience working with flowers, along with perspectives from others engaged in reshaping the industry.
