Stunning French Art Deco bronze patina spelter figure with a decorative motif design sitting on a beautiful Portoro marble, signed by the renowned listed French artist M. Secondo, a late nineteenth / early twentieth century artist and famous sculptor of the Art Deco period. Especially sought after for his animal creations and Diana huntress figures, skillfully created with great realism. This wonderful example depicts a gracefully kneeling elegant woman in two colors : bronze patinated blue color for her dress, and gilt color for her birds and her waist belt. This sculpture was probably made circa 1920-1930; it has clear influences from the Art Deco. The sculpture is signed on the base by the artist.
