This superior heat management reduces turbo lag by increasing turbine efficiency and provides a huge reduction in engine bay temperatures. The natural color comes from the basalt volcanic rock outer layer, which shields surrounding components like plastic lines and electrical wiring from damaging heat, resulting in cooler air intake temperatures and a boost in overall horsepower.

Notes

• The blanket is sized specifically for T4 turbochargers.
• Due to exposure to extreme heat, the blanket's fibers will lose their initial flexibility after the first heat cycle, but this does not reduce the thermal properties of the shield.
