Hand-cut from single hides to minimise seams. Vegetable-tanned full-grain leather with reinforced stress points. Double and triple hand-stitching throughout. Solid brass hardware. 12-14 hours of skilled labour.

University of Stellenbosch 2025 tests measured 42 N/mm² average tear strength, nearly double chrome-tanned alternatives (21–28 N/mm²). Designed to last 12–25 years, developing a distinctive patina with every trip.

Care Instructions
