IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES:

The emblems come pre-applied to a clear template for easy installation. We provide a high grade 3M emblem adhesive (glue) in the package which needs to be applied to the emblem for installation. 

We only advise using the adhesive we send with these emblems as they are quite heavy and 3M tape will not hold these well.  Please apply with the instructions below to ensure the emblems stay on the car for a long period. We do not want you to lose these precious emblems after installation. The emblems can be removed in the future and will require some care but it is totally reversible. 

PPF NOTES:

These apply on PPF also. For best adhesion, we do not recommend double sided tape, instead please use the supplied 3M adhesive. 

The emblems can be applied below the T logo on your trunk or can replace the T logo completely if you wish. 

APPLICATION. 

• Step 1 : Remove the old emblems if you are going to replace the T logo with these custom emblems. Apply heat with a heat gun on its lowest setting, then pry them off with a putty knife.
   
• Step 2: Clean the area where you want to apply the emblem. If it is the previous emblem's location, use specially formulated adhesive cleaner to remove the adhesive. Use rubbing alcohol to remove any remaining grease or dirt and let the area dry completely.
   
• Step 3: Use the level and painters tape to create a straight line using the template provided to mark the bottom and top of the emblem. You only get one chance to apply the emblem, so you want to ensure it goes on straight. Use our template for testing your placement.
   
• Step 4: Prepare the emblem. Clean the back of the emblems with rubbing alcohol. Apply supplied 3M adhesive glue to the back of each piece. 
   
• Step 5: Using the template, stick the emblems onto the car, using your painters tape mark as a guide. Apply painters tape on top of each newly applied character of your Tesla font emblem until it adheres to the paintwork. Allow 30 mins to set and carefully remove all the painters tape and template.
  
  
• Please do not wash the car for 48 hours.
