It's made up of 21 jewels, several of which are screwed gold chatons, 164 components, and a shock absorber device for added durability. In addition, it is equipped with a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance adjustable to five positions, and a self-compensating Nivarox flat balance spring, along with other characteristics. Among the many features of this device are the swan-neck micrometer regulator, the hand-engraved balance bridge, and the precision beat adjustment system with a whiplash spring.
