Our Charcoal Houjicha is super earthy and rich and makes for a great latte especially when served over ice. Its made from organic leaves that are harvested and processed by our organic partner in Fujieda, Japan. To complete the final step of deep roasting (which removes almost all caffeine), it is sent off to another close-by local partner to prevent cross contamination with other teas.
