Altagracia, named for Bart Araujo’s grandmother, mirrors the Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon in vinification. It represents the Eastern Eisele Vineyard parcels, supplemented with grapes from contracted Napa Valley vineyards, farmed to our standards. A Napa Valley Proprietary Red, it’s both age-worthy and approachable when young.

Eisele Vineyard “Altagracia” Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is a refined expression of one of Napa Valley’s most hallowed sites, offering a more immediately approachable lens on the legendary Eisele terroir. Sourced from the same organically farmed, volcanic soils that underpin the estate’s flagship bottling, Altagracia leans into purity and balance rather than sheer power. The 2022 vintage opens with layered aromas of blackcurrant, ripe blackberry, and dark cherry, accented by subtle notes of graphite, dried herbs, and warm earth. On the palate, the wine is polished and composed, with finely grained tannins, integrated oak, and a savory thread that carries through the finish.
