I explore the relationships of colour; intuition & artificial structure to female form,
safety & balance, within a socially constructed confinement, amid an organic
moment. A present moment of self creating dialogue on intuition & construct; trust &
balance allows me to move from my comfort zone & make change.

 “Balancing The Intuitive” is a self portrait exploring the balance of my place in the artificial playground of patriarchal construct.

In order for self determination, I must transcend the safety zone putting myself at risk of injury or death. It’s a tangible balance in order to create a vision and freedom for the future.
The colours, chosen for the emotion they ignite and symbology they embody, feed my resolve to rise above the structures positively.

• Green and purple - my right to self determination, liberation from the bonds of patriarchy

• Green - growth, heart, nature

• Pink - strength in feminine creativity

• Red - excitement, passion, danger

• Blue - trust, security

• Yellow - optimism, joy, spontaneity

• White - lightness, healing, purity

• Black - depth, strength
