Omega Watches, a hallmark of Swiss luxury and precision, has a storied history that traces its origins back to 1848. Founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, Omega initially operated under the name La Generale Watch Co. It wasn't until 1903, following the success of their 19-line calibre watches named "Omega," that the company adopted this as its official brand name.
Over the years, Omega has been at the forefront of innovation in watchmaking. It introduced several technological advancements and design patents that have significantly influenced the industry. With endorsements from celebrities and involvement in major sporting events and space missions, Omega has solidified its status as a symbol of excellence and reliability in precision timekeeping.
What's on Offer
This vintage military-style Omega is in incredible condition with a beautifully preserved dial. The bold Arabic numerals still retain some of their original lume as do the original syringe hands. The dial has warmed to an ivory colour and is encapsulated underneath shatterproof Plexiglass which is then encased in polished stainless steel.
The case and spyder lugs are also in fantastic condition. At 35mm, this watch is approaching a jumbo sized watch for its era, making it perfectly suitable for modern-day use. It wears very nicely on the wrist and is light and comfortable.
Running well and keeping good time, this is a really nice vintage piece that will offer the wearer a versatile accessory for every occasion - an absolute classic and in stunning condition.
