Black cumin oil has a unique fatty acid composition. It is particularly rich in linoleic acid (omega-6), which protects, moisturises, and nourishes the skin.
Omega fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids. The essential polyunsaturated fatty acids are linoleic acid (omega-6), linolenic acid (omega-3), and oleic acid (omega-9). Cold-pressed black cumin oil is rich in omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids that support the immune system.
Thanks to its nutrients and fatty acids, black cumin oil is an oil that supports the body's overall and comprehensive well-being. In addition to omega fatty acids, black cumin oil contains vitamin E, phytosterols, and a small amount of skin-friendly essential oils. Besides the beneficial fatty acids, the most significant bioactive ingredient in black cumin oil is thymoquinone, which has been shown to have diverse positive effects on animal well-being. The thymoquinone, nigelline, and nigellone contained in the oil are behind many of its therapeutic effects. Black cumin oil contains approximately 60% linoleic acid (omega-6), 25% oleic acid (omega-9), 4% linolenic acid (omega-3) as well as vitamin E, B-group vitamins, calcium, iron, copper, zinc, and phosphorus.
