Pieces Included in Set:

• Retaining Clip - Is an important piece that secures all the lock components together.
• Lock Shaft - The key feature is a "cross" shaped top. This cross fits into the door lock actuator and signals the vehicle to unlock the door when turned.
• Spring - Allows the lock to retract and return to the center position.
• U-Shaped Middle Plate -  Attaches the lock mechanism to the spring and shaft.  Two slightly different pieces are provided (driver, passenger) Because this is the most commonly defective OEM piece, we have made this replacement part in very high durability to last!
• Base plate - This part's function is to secure all the components in place. It fits on the bottom of the mechanism and does not rotate.
