Phil Manzanera made his debut as a full-fledged professional musician as a guitarist with Roxy Music, and since then has become one of the leading sound creators in the British music scene through various projects and collaborations, as well as producing albums for Pink Floyd and David Gilmour. His new album is a collaboration with Andy McKay, a longtime friend of his from Roxy Music, and is his first release since the progressive Latin album "Sequel Coroncho Travels" in 2017. After Phil Manzanera stopped performing in 1983, he formed a new band, The Explorers, with Andy McKay and released an album together, followed by two albums as Manzanera & McKay. Since then, Andy McKay has been a guest on Phil Manzanera's solo albums, and their friendship has continued. Last year, the two started a project called "Roxymphony," in which they perform Roxy Music songs with an orchestra, and have given five concerts together.A live album of the concert held at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London will be released. This special performance, featuring performances by Phil Manzanera and Andy McKay, will be released as a CD and DVD coupling in Japan. The concert tour of this project had been scheduled but was cancelled due to Andy McKay's poor health, so this live product is sure to be a valuable product for the fans.
