What a great item. The present little volume was originally part of D. L. Moody's personal library and contains his bold, clear autograph on the ffep.
Heavily influenced by many of the Plymouth Brethren authors, both evangelistically and eschatologically, it is not difficult to imagine at all this volume by Charles Stanley, containing his complete Railway Tracts influencing his preaching of the Gospel. It also includes Stanley's, Plain Words, and Bread Cast Upon the Waters, i.e. 48 tracts total. then, in the rear is an additional important tract entitled The Coming of the Lord with an eschatological diagram.
[Dwight Lyman Moody] Stanley, Charles. Tracts. Volume I. London. G. Morish. c.1880.
A good, solid copy. The spine lifted and the cloth cover a bit awkwardly relaid. Very minor tide mark to cloth just extending onto the ffep and a very small corner of the rear few pages. Else very clean and sound.
