The "69" sub-line brings Sellam's leather vocabulary into organic cotton. A narrow leather spine insert runs down the back, carrying the faint animal scent of new leather in the first weeks - the kind you register before thinking to check. The Steel Staple 69 at the back neckline is a single metal agrafe, cool at first contact, that marks this as Sellam's work without announcing itself to a room. Cold-dyeing the finished garment concentrates silver into the seam folds as slightly darker streaks while the flat panels hold lighter - the surface is not uniform. In sunlight it reads as muted pewter; under artificial light it flattens toward dark ash. Made in Paris.
