This whip has an antler or staghorn handle.
There would have been a silver button on the heel of the staghorn, this is missing
It has two silver collars, the hallmarks are rubbed but indicate London 1927 one collar is stamped  "Maxwell" and engraved "T.D.C. 1928".  There are some small dents and dings in the silver
Between the two collars the whip is covered in dark brown braided leather.

The rest of the shaft or stock is also covered in braided leather
The whip has an open keeper in bridle leather and a braided leather thong with a bound repair at its end and a red cord lash.
