Appearance: Deep garnet or ruby red with a dark core. Aroma: Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum are dominant, complemented by notes of mint, cedar, tobacco, and dark chocolate. There may also be some hints of spice, such as cloves and black pepper, from the oak aging. Palate: Full-bodied and structured, with rich flavours of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) combined with earthy undertones like leather, tobacco, and oak. The wine also shows hints of vanilla, spice, and dark chocolate. The tannins are firm yet fine, providing structure and balance to the concentrated fruit, with a long, lingering finish.

Best enjoyed with hearty dishes such as grilled steak, lamb chops, venison, or rich stews. It also pairs well with aged cheeses like blue cheese or cheddar.
