This Handley Page Halifax B.MK III represents RAF No.51 Squadron aircraft LV937 “Expensive Babe” at RAF Snaith, England in March 1945. Finished in late-war bomber camouflage, it captures one of Bomber Command’s most important heavy bombers in a named aircraft scheme with strong operational identity.
