The Gravel Cell (also known as Stable or Gravel Grid) reinforcement structure creates an attractive and durable hard surface suitable for all vehicle and pedestrian access. This makes it ideal for parking lots, access roads, pathways, driveways, and replaces unsustainable bitumen, paved or concrete systems. Because the surface is permeable, this 50mm deep recycled plastic cell is well suited to storm water/flood prone areas.

Description

Gravel cell can be used throughout the construction of a project to ensure neat and mud free pathways and vehicular access is maintained. It can also be used to assist in drainage under pavers, Reinforce slopes and embankments and to reinforce swales to collect and absorb rainwater into underground channels for re-use or recharge the water table.

The installation and maintenance of Gravel Cell provides enormous cost savings when compared to bitumen or concrete systems. The sub-base required is equal to or less than the sub-base required for concrete or bitumen. The reduction of the traditional storm water drains required by impermeable parking lots provides an immediate cost saving when installing Gravel Cell pavers for the same application.
