• Cooking Methods: They can be steamed, boiled, sautéed, or roasted. They are often used in salads, stir-fries, and as a side dish. The key to cooking string beans is to avoid overcooking them to maintain their crisp texture.
• Storage: For the best quality, fresh string beans should be stored in the refrigerator and used within a week. They can also be blanched and frozen for longer storage.
